Explore opportunities through the ACE Program, Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Disability Resource Center (DRC), and the UCSC Library, and discover the many ways UC Santa Cruz is here to support your goals.

Learning Support Services
Looking for extra academic support? Learning Support Services (LSS) offers free tutoring, small group study sessions, and writing support to help you build confidence and succeed in your classes. Whether you’re keeping up or catching up, LSS is here to support your learning every step of the way.

Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center (DRC) ensures equal access to educational opportunities for all students. If you have a disability or think you might, the DRC can help you connect with accommodations, support services, and tools for success.

Academic Excellence Program
For nearly four decades, the Academic Excellence (ACE) Program has supported students in achieving their goals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at UCSC. ACE promotes educational equity by offering active learning sessions, peer mentoring, skill-building, and a strong sense of community. The program helps students succeed in rigorous STEM courses while working together to strive for academic excellence.

Educational Opportunity Programs
The Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP) provides academic and personal support for first-generation college students from historically underrepresented backgrounds. EOP offers advising, peer mentoring, workshops, and access to resources that help students thrive and navigate university life.

UCSC Libraries
The UC Santa Cruz Library is more than a place to study—it’s a hub for research, collaboration, and academic support. With access to millions of books, journals, and digital resources, students can find what they need to explore ideas and complete coursework. The Library also offers research help, technology lending, and study spaces across both McHenry and the Science & Engineering Libraries.
